About
I have been practicing movement, dance, yoga and meditation since childhood. After devoting and following the eight limbs of yoga for about 2 decades, I decided to do the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Madras, India. Since then, I have attended numerous trainings and workshops which had a huge impact in the way I teach.
I offer a deep understanding of traditional asana and specialize both in theory and practice. My teaching focuses on alignment, finding balance between strength and flexibility in every asana and breath awareness.
I see nothing external to my yoga practice as I find sensitivity, intuition, and insight are to be found through stillness, silence, and connection with the seemingly ordinary world around us and that ultimately no teacher is greater than the one within.
Teaching yoga showed me that truly my students will always be a great source of learning. That I have to listen to them, to what they say, and what they don’t say. Opening myself with patience and compassion to how every student offers unique insights into the practice of doing and guiding yoga helped me to stay grounded in the realities of my students. I honor, respect and tap into these insights – these are my most essential foundations for being the best teacher I can be.
